Tried to replace my rented Comcast/Xfinity modem with the surfboard. It sells for around 280-320 dollars. Has been working fine until the last week or so. They say everything thing is set up. I can set it up in the Surfboard app and connect to its signal; however, when I connect it redirects me to Xfinity's captive Wifi page and I don't have internet access. It's been just a month and we switched back because tmobile was dropping and services spotty. We have been using our Arris modem for over two years works great. I used my arris surfboard SBG10 modem & router for 2 months in another location. We disconnect the service. We are now with Xfinity.
